Our 6-Point Vetting Process
Before any contractor joins the US Sky Shield Roofing network, they must pass every step of our rigorous screening process.
State License Verification
We verify every contractor holds a valid, active roofing license issued by their state licensing board. No expired, revoked, or pending licenses are accepted.
Insurance Validation
Active general liability insurance ($1M+ minimum) and workers' compensation coverage are required before any contractor can receive referrals through our platform.
BBB & Review Analysis
We check Better Business Bureau ratings, Google reviews, and other platforms. Only contractors with a minimum 4.0-star average and no unresolved complaints are approved.
Experience Requirement
A minimum of 5 years of documented roofing experience is required. We verify completed project portfolios and manufacturer certifications (GAF, CertainTeed, Owens Corning).
Background Check
Company principals undergo background screening. We check for any history of fraud, major complaints, or legal issues that could put homeowners at risk.
Ongoing Monitoring
Approval isn't permanent. We continuously monitor customer feedback, re-verify licenses and insurance annually, and remove contractors who fall below our quality standards.
